Very rare Polish antique balance scale from 1950s. Made by famous Juliusz Sperling (JS) factory in Warsow in 1952.

It has almost 70 years! The scale has got metal pans that are painted the same as the scale.

The scale was made by craftman. He used pattern and made a identical beautiful 2 castings that was conected by many metal buckles. It was very difficult work because scale had to be perfectly leveled.

It is made of cast iron and has beautyful flying griffon motives (mythological creature with the body of a lion and head and wings of an eagle).

The maximum allowed weight is 3 kg (6.61 lbs).

This majestic vintage scale is perfect for kitchen display, has wonderful black and gold colors that looks great with gold pans.

A lovely addition to your vintage collection or stylish flower support.

Condition: Very good. Scale has been renewed by me. I sell as a decor because I don't know if it works precisely. One pan has sign from sticking together. Please see photos.
