Very rare Polish antique balance scale from 1940s. Made by famous Juliusz Sperling (JS) factory in Warsow in 1947.

It has almost 80 years! The scale has signatures and its number (the beautiful pans without signatures). It has also sticker that informed that the sale was authorised for use.

The scale was made by craftman. He used pattern and made a identical beautiful 2 castings that was connected by many metal buckles. It was very difficult work because scale had to be perfectly leveled.

It is made of cast iron and has beautiful flying griffon motives (mythological creature with the body of a lion and head and wings of an eagle).
The maximum allowed weight is 3 kg (6.61 lbs). It has originally pans made of brass.

This majestic vintage scale is perfect for kitchen display, has wonderful black and gold colors that looks great with brass polished pans.

A lovely addition to your vintage collection or stylish flower support.
