FAQ:

Question: Is there a certificate stating that a particular poster is an original?

Answer: For people who have been collecting Polish posters for years, this question is nonsense because they know the reality of Poland and offset printing, but let me give you a concise answer. These posters were printed using offset technology. Due to the costs, it was necessary to print at least several hundred copies to make sense. For this simple reason the posters were not forged at all - they were so-called ephemeral prints and in practice only a few dozen people in the world seriously collected them... So there are no certificates, because there is no need... These posters were not faked...

Question:

So how can you tell if it's an original and not a modern reprint, because cheap reprints have been made for a few years now?

Answer: Mostly just look and check the printer's footer and the back of the poster is worth seeing. In each of my auctions you will see a detailed photo of the back of the poster where you can see the original folds, inscriptions by marker or pencil or just fatigue and browning of the paper on the folds or yellowing from the acidic paper used in the past - this cannot be faked... The easiest way is to touch the paper, but just analyzing the photo of the back in most cases, will already tell you that at old24.com you will find really valuable and rare originals.

Question:

How do I know that the poster will reach me without damage?

Answer: The poster is rolled and protected with paper in a tube so that it arrives to you without damage. The poster will not fly around in the tube, so the borders will be fine. We know what we do, so no worries about the condition of the poster in shipping. We don't use old tubes that may fall apart. We don't skimp on the cost of materials to ensure safe shipping. We do our best to make sure our customers receive the goods the way we ourselves would like to receive them.
